September Product Review.

It's been a while since I reviewed products for you guys. My September review will cover products from Ziaja skincare, Declare, Bottega Verde and to change it up a little also a pair of shoes from New Look.

Before coming home from Italy I bought these two products from Bottega Verde, as you know I am a huge fan of their products because they're natural.
I got the "Gel Stuccante viso e occhi" (Eye and Face makeup remover) on discount and seeing from the site there is still a discount. To be honest I was pretty let down by this product. It didn't reach my expectations for this product, from the texture to the actual removal of makeup I just didn't like it. It would always leave makeup around my nose and my eyeliner would still be on after washing twice. Compared to other makeup removers I have to say this is the worst.
The second product I purchased was "Gel Detergente per il Viso-Pelle Pura" (Facial Gel cleanser-Pure Skin range) I liked this product but again I still wasn't super impressed. It's impossible to make a foam out of the product where it says in the directions to make a foam in your hands and apply. Again the texture was not the greatest sensation.
I was quite unimpressed with these products and as a Bottega Verde lover I am sad to say this. It won't put me off the brand at all because I still love the products I have tried.
Ziaja Skincare contacted me about four weeks ago asking me to try out some of their products so I jumped at the chance because I already heard such great things. So four weeks later I feel it's safe to say that I love them! I chose:
The Gentle Eye Make-up Remover which was a dream to use. I demonstrated on my Snapchat (CiaraSwalsh) just how good it is after my bad experience with the one from Bottega Verde, I am so happy this was introduced to my life!
The Soothing Eye Gel is now permanently part of my skin care routine. At €3.29 it's a steal! Since beginning this cream the makeup around my eyes has stayed on longer. I guess my skin was quite dry before. My eyes even appear brighter and my dark circles have minimised. Thumbs up!
Lastly the Rose Butter micro-peeling exfoliating scrub I used this once a week to get rid of dead skin cells, I have found it to be great and my skin is alwasy left feeling extremely soft and smooth afterwards and it contains Rose butter, provitamin B5 , vitamin B6, vitamin C and vitamin E! Love!
The great thing about this skincare range is how affordable it is. Being a student can be financially difficult and knowing this great skincare range is available is so reassuring!
Now I know why I've heard great reviews. Shop everything here!
Thirdly is Declare, if you follow me on Snapchat you would know I won these products at the Cloggers Bloggers Event in Cork in a hamper by Meaghers Pharmacy. Out of all the products in the hamper I obsessed over these two, the Ocean's Best Moisturiser which is actually quite affordable at €9.95! When I saw the price I was shocked because everything about this product screams good quality! My skin is left so hydrated afterwards. You guys know I've used the Kiehls Gel Moisturiser for years but I've been converted to the Declare one. Love love love!
Next was the Gentle cleansing powder, I was quite sceptical about using this because it is in a powder form but, after trying it I didn't find any complications! I find it really does what is says on the tin, by getting rid of dead skin cells and impurities. If I could force everyone to buy this I would!
So thank you Meaghers Pharmacy for choosing me as your winner, you've introduced me to a brand I'll never forget!

Last but not least are these fab Gucci-esque loafers from Newlook. Since coming back from Italy, I realised all my shoes were open sandlas and coming back to Ireland I really needed cute, chic closed shoes. I have been dreaming of buying amazing Gucci shoes (One day Ciara, ond day!) so when I spotted these I went to heaven. The main reason I bought these was the fact they are so comfortable, they are real soft leather so I avoided having to break them in like most shoes. I got them on sale and found out they still are! Shop them here.
Shop similar styles here and here. I just love the fact they are a timeless classic style shoe.

Chat soon my loves!
