Fashion Has Come To Galway With The Galway Fashion Trail!

Top: Zara | Skirt: Penneys/Primark | Boots: Missguided | Bag: Penneys/Primark

The Galway Fashion Trail was back with a bang this year as part of one of the many events of Galway Fashion Week. I was kindly invited by Galway Now and ITWBN to attend as a VIP blogger. We began our day with a fabulous Bloggers Breakfast in a suite on the 4th floor of the Radisson Blu Hotel Galway with one of the most gorgeous views of Lough Atalia. I got so excited when the plates of pancakes and bacon came out!

Whilst we ate, we were greeted with a mini fashion show from Catwalk Model Agency styling pieces from Harper.ieIrish Fashion Innovation Award Finalist INNU, Irish Fashion Innovation Award Finalist Louise Porter, Millinery by Majella Lennon Dalton and Brid O Driscoll Millinery, Shoes by Sheneil Shoes who are based in Oranmore, and the makeup for the models was done by Aisling K Makeup.

But it doesn't stop there, we also had a chance to shop in the suite as shops like Sheneil Shoes, Jewelbox.ie and Optique Opticians had stands there. I think we all drooled over the shoes from and accessories especially the Gucci dupe 'GG' belt from Jewlbox.ie, and here's a fun fact, my optician happens to be Optique Opticians so it was nice to have a friendly business there!

Soon after we finished scoffing our mouths with the gorgeous food, we were whisked away by Bradley Moters Galway in their gorgeous Renault cars. We all felt like royalty! So thank you so much guys. 💜

The first fashion show was in the Eyre Square Shopping center where the models styled some pieces by Swamp, who else is loving that crochet top as much as I do? 😍
Next Stop was Greens Shoes, being 75 years in business, it is most definitely one of Galway's hidden gems! I fell in Love with these heels as well as their many gorgeous sandals, perfect for summer! I can just imagine all the Instagramming I would do with them! As well as this they had some fabulous and individually unique hand printed scarves by Niamh Daniels.

Next Stop was Colette Latchford who showcased a number of pieces from their latest collection which would be perfect for weddings or even the Galway Races! Colette Latchford has been in Galway for many years and is situated across the road from the side entrance of Debenhams. Thank you ladies for having us!

Next up was a fabulous fashion show in Brown Thomas Galway showing us the latest trends from Victoria Beckham to Coast, to Karen Millen and Ted baker, this was for sure one of the most packed parts of the trail. They even supplied us with chairs and champagne for the show (I guess they knew our feet were killing us 😃). Brown Thomas is one of the key shops in Galway for high-end fashion and being able to watch some of the S/S '17 collections was something special.

*Before our stop at Willow Boutique, we went to Choice Boutique, we were jam packed in the shop that I was unable to snap any pics so I will redirect you to some of the other blogs to have a look at their pieces, here, here, here, and here.*

The best was certainly left until last, Willow Boutique showed us an array of stunning pieces and I just couldn't stop snapping. And have a look at their decor! I'm a sucker for gorgeous interiors when I shop. Willow Boutique have many brands under one roof, from Kendall and Kylie shoes, to Guess bags, to CLUSE watches, to Ted Baker pieces and many many more. This was definitely my favourite stop; they also supplied us with some delish macaroons!

During the trail we got a much needed break and we were taken to Revive Cafe for some grub. We got to taste nearly all of their menu and it is safe to say we were in disbelief in how lovely everything was. I would return here in a heart beat and order everything again so thank you to Revive Cafe for an amazing lunch!

We ended a fabulous day in The Front Door pub where we got to taste their new gin as well as some lovely finger food. We were absolutely wrecked after running around from one shop to another so it was really needed. Thank you so much for having us!

I just want to say a massive thank you to every single person and business involved, especially to Galway Now and Golden Egg Productions, ITWBN and Irish Blogger Agency. The Galway Fashion Trail is a free event for anyone to attend so we hope to see you at the next one.
