Milan.

Hey guys! :*

I have been a busy woman lately. By busy I mean I spent a few days in Milan to celebrate mine and Davide's one year anniversary where we spent a day wandering the streets of glamorous Milan and then two whole days at the Expo. The first day we saw the typical sights of Milan like the famous Duomo and the glorious Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

Here are some snaps from our first day including some outfit details:

 Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

Missing Milan a lot as there are so much more things I want to see like all the fashion exhibitions! I will definitely be returning as soon as possible!

Product Review: KIEHL'S

Ciao a tutti!

Today I am going to review a product I was so fortunate to get. You may have seen on my Instagram (@ciaraswalsh) that a dear friend of mine bought me a little gift box with some Kiehl's products for my birthday. Well I have fallen in love. I even went into their shop here in Bologna a few days ago with a friend and the service was impeccable. They even gave me some more samples to try!

Kiehl's was founded in 1851 in New York and since then it has spread into tonnes of countries all over the world, including Ireland and Italy. The thing I love most about their products is that they're made from the finest natural ingredients.

Here are the products I was gifted and the samples I was given to try:

This Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream was the main present that was given to me in my box of goodies and since I started using it I can't leave it down. I have oily skin and as you all know I suffer with some acne problems. I can tell you I haven't received a spot since. One of the best moisturisers I have ever tried. If anybody is searching for a good moisturiser and oil free I highly recommend investing in this!
Silicone free Amino Acid Conditioner and Smoothing Argan Shampoo.
Both products moisturise, cleanse and smooths hair leaving a long-lasting shine.
Another thing I love about these products is that only a small drop is needed and it will spread evenly over your face. With this Ultra Facial Oil-Free Toner, it doesn't run out onto the cotton pad like most toners. This bottle is designed to retain the product by releasing one drop at a time. Three small drops did my whole face!
This was one of the sample products given to me in the Kiehl's shop, the Ultra Facial Cream which is a moisturiser for those cold winter day. It locks in moisture a lot more than normal moisturisers. I tried it on and my face felt moisturised all day! Great product. I know I'll be glued to it at Christmas!
Like I said for the facial toner, also this Rare Earth Deep Pore Daily Cleanser will cover your whole face with only a pea sized drop. This product purifies and detoxifies the skin while reducing pore size. It is great for anyone with black heads.
As you can see from the picture I have already ripped open the product and used it. I highly recommend it. After my night time skin care routine I put this Over Night Biological Peel on which spreads all over your face. Its transparent and has a slight oily feel to it even though it is oil free. You leave it on as you sleep and I can promise you when you wake up in the morning and rinse your face you will feel like a new person. My skin was so clear and even. I haven't seen my face so bright in a long time. My face was also noticeably smoother which was due to the exfoliating elements to the mask. Love love love this product! Will definitely invest in this! It can also be used for all skin types.

You can shop all products and more here.

This time is the first time in a long time that I rave about a skin care product. The effort that goes into these products is amazing. I can guarantee you if you come across a Kiehl's shop you will be treated great and you will be walking away with more than you intended.

New Hair.

Happy Saturday!

As you all know I'm a fan of ombré hair so I decided to go the extra mile and put even more blonde in my hair.

I got my hair done in a fabulous hairdressers in Rome called ECS an ecological salon. The staff were exceptional especially the owner Patrizia; with her warm personality made me feel at home in seconds. I would highly recommend this salon as I am overjoyed with how my hair came out. They also have a range of beauty treatments on offer.

That night myself and Davide headed out for some dinner to celebrate 11 months together. <3

My New Home!

I am here!

I am in Bologna safe and sound and I love it. I have moved into a lovely apartment with two other Italian girls and I have a single room to myself. The size of my room is so great and I've only started to design it to make it more homely. I will do a full post on how I decorated my room when it’s complete. :)

I'm not homesick as of yet, I have still to start college though and meet a lot more people so for these days I am just getting my bearings. :) I'm not in the centre of Bologna, I am about a 10-15 minute bus journey away which doesn't bother me as I'm not around the hustle and bustle of the city. Trying to understand the roads is hard though because everything looks the same!

I finally took the bus into the centre and began to understand a few things about the place. I'm so excited to learn a lot more. :)

Here is some of Bologna’s beauty for you all to see!

I will chat to you all very soon for more updates! Watch out for an upcoming competition on my Instagram: ciaraswalsh and Facebook: CiaraSwalsh, as my initial goal after starting CiaraSwalsh Blog was to reach 5000 total views by the end of summer and I have achieved this and more. I have reached approx. 7000 total views and I am absolutely over the moon! Thank you all for everything and your continuous support! :*
So keep your eyes peeled girls!

Love always,

Beach Front.

Hey lovelies! :)

Here is a cute little piece I threw together for a relaxing evening in Torrevieja. Evenings walking along the promenade are so gorgeous especially with the glorious sunsets every night. Here I am wearing a very simple and comfortable outfit which is ideal for the hot weather of Spain. It was very hard to find good restaurants to eat in as I am quite a fussy eater but on our last night we found the most amazing restaurant called Sirocco. I suggest going for one of the pasta dishes I got ravioli al tartufo and I almost licked the plate clean! It's absolutely fabulous and we also had a lovely view of the beach.

Details on what I wore below:

 Top: Penneys/Primark
Shorts: Market in Cabo Roig
Sandals: Penneys/Primark (Spain)

Right now I am preparing myself to leave tonight for the airport! My flight is very early tomorrow morning. I still can't believe how fast this came and I am so close to my dream of living in Italy! :)
It will take me a while to settle in to the new apartment but I'm excited to experience it all.
I will keep you all posted on my big move for my Erasmus year.

Ciao for now! :*

Big Kisses xx
