February Product Review

Hello you beautiful people, so because I was out of action due to my operation (read about my condition here) I was unable to share the products I have being using and testing for the past month. Well I'm back so get your pens out because I know you'll love some of these products as much as I do!

Oh wow, first up is this ZOEVA contour and highlight palette my sister got me for Secret Santa. I've been using it for almost 2 months now (religiously every time I wear make up) and I have to say I love it. I mix both browns together when I do my contour but I don't really use the highlights because I've been using another one which I will speak about later. The highlights in this palette aren't as luminous as I normally like my highlight (I like to beam) so I guess you could use them if you like a soft highlight. But the contour colours are just amaze! I'm not sure how much this retails at as it was a present but I'm sure it would be around the €20 mark.
Here is that highlight I was telling you about, it's from a brand called I <3 Makeup. Ok first things first, look at that packaging!! Isn't it just the cutest thing you've ever seen? This was another Christmas present from my mother dearest. I'm not overly familiar with the brand yet I have heard of it so I wasn't sure about how it was going to be. Believe me when I tell you this, I sure do beam with this and probably have blinded someone but yes if you are a highlight lover like me then this one is for you. If I'm not wrong this retails at under €10, but don't quote me on this as it was a present. One thing's for sure I'm so glad Christmas just came so I wont be running out of makeup anytime soon!
The gorgeous Kate from Benefit sent me some products to try as part of their campaign about their Hero Products. Mine were definitely these two as I would be nowhere without my brows or lashes. This is not sponsored, but I did get these products sent to me. I wasn't asked for a review on the blog but I like showing you what I love/hate as you deserve to know. You can always check out my selfie on Instagram talking about my Hero Products.

Anyways back to the review, I was gifted Gimme Brow and the They're Real Lashes Mascara, and I love them so much. I use Gimme Brow on my brows every time I do my makeup and it makes them seem very three dimensional. I've also began only using it without my pencil to line my brows before application. I believe it gives more of a natural look and I love that. But on nights out I would definitely have more of a dramatic look where I would apply this after pencil-lining them.

Next up is the They're Real Mascara, I have been searching for months for a proper mascara as I got a terrible one from Kiko a few months ago, another one ran out and I could never find it again. So when I received this I was praying it would be good and once I saw how it applied to my lashes I was over the moon thinking I have finally found something that works for me. I would absolutely recommend these two products and if I'm not wrong these retail for around €25 each on Cloud 10 Beauty.
This highlight palette from Sleek makeup was also a Christmas present from my mother, you all must think I love highlight (I do) and this palette is gorgeous and severely underrated. I never really hear any reviews on this palette, and I believe it's just great. The pigmentation is incredible (almost better than the I <3 Makeup one above) and the packaging is just so classy and looks so expensive. It also comes with a tiny applicator which I don't use as I like to use my own brushes. My favourite shade on this palette is the orange highlight but the rest are all a close second. Again I'm not sure how much it retails for but it shouldn't exceed €15 as all Sleek products are relatively inexpensive;

Last but not least is this Hair Mask that Kreative Salon Supplies sent out to me to try. They specialise in luxury hair care for hair salons. I usually only put hair oils in my hair after my shower because I never have time for masks. This mask only says to leave it in for one minute so I have began to use this once or twice a week in the shower after I condition my hair. It's so handy for when you're really busy and have little time to pamper yourself. When I was off sick I did try this on all night and I probably shouldn't have done that as it just wouldn't have been as beneficial for my hair than if I would have left it in for 1 minute as directed. My hair was left feeling so soft, healthy and shiny afterwards and I have been getting a lot of compliments on my hair too. I believe it's down to this mask and the hair oils I use with it after the shower. I honestly believe it's a genius idea to have a one minute mask. I had never heard of this brand before the lovely Kreative Salon Supplies contacted me but I would definitely use this brand in the future.

I am heading to London on Monday for two nights so keep up with me on my Snapchat and Instagram: CiaraSwalsh
