Our Italian Holiday Pt. 2

Beach Days!

Hello again everybody!
Today I want to share with you some of the pictures we snapped whilst at the beach and I want to share some advice for tanning.

First off, I am one of the palest people I know so I ended up getting 50+ sun cream because I didn't trust the 30+ I bought.
We went to the beach everyday of our holiday and after everyday I got more and more coloured. The first day I actually burnt my feet pretty bad because I didn't reapply the cream on my feet after being in the water which was a massive mistake!
If you want to get a gradual tan I highly advise to apply factor 50+ and reapply it after being in the water.. I was actually completely pink after the first day but I wasn't burnt (except my feet). Everyday I would always apply my factor 50+ 2 or 3 times at the beach.
The most important part of tanning is after you get home from the beach. I took my shower then covered my body in aftersun and then again before I went to sleep. This kept my skin extremely hydrated and prevented any peeling. In the end I came out with a great tan so I'm so happy about that!
If you guys have any more questions on that topic don't hesitate to ask me :)

We rented the lounge beds and a sun parasol for the beach which were a must if you also want to relax under the parasol away from the sun. After lunch I would always stay under the parasol to have a nap and I would only sunbathe in the morning and before lunch.
There was a bar and small restaurant on site too. It was so cute!

Here are some snaps of our beach days:

I kind of look like scary spice in this picture but we bought this inflatable dolphin for the sea. I was the biggest child at the beach. But i loved it!
