5 Things I'm Looking Forward To This Winter

There are so many things I'm looking forward to including two upcoming trips, so as I'm so excited about this I just had to share it all in this post!
(Versione Italiana in fondo.)

1. Galway Christmas Market

I cannot wait for the Christmas market to come to Galway. It's honestly the highlight of my year in my home town. The whole city lit up in twinkling Christmas lights, the smell of mulled wine and sound of fun and laughter. It really gives the city a sense of warmth and a sense of Christmas. I sometimes wish I was a tourist visiting Galway for the first time seeing the magic of the market. It would be beautiful to get an outsider opinion. I could walk around the market all day if I could, going to different stalls, eating and drinking my way through it.

2. Winter Evenings Snuggled Up By The Fire

When I lived home in Final Year of Uni, I just loved coming home from a long day in college to a massive fire on. I would sit next to it relaxing all evening in my dressing gown and cosies. Now that I've moved back home for the year after living in Sicily, I honestly cannot wait to get home after work to the cosiness with a big cup of hot chocolate or tea. There's something so comforting about it for me.

3. Wrapping Up In Winter Coats and Scarves

Being wrapped up inside is something I love, but I absolutely love layering myself up and throwing on a massive winter coat, scarf wrapped around half my face and a cute wool hat; and if it's just that cold, gloves too. There't nothing more cosy for me than being wrapped up in the cold. Breathing in the crisp Irish air, walking through the streets with a cup of tea in your hands getting that extra warmth. It didn't get as cold as it does here in Ireland in Catania last year so I missed it so much. I definitely didn't get the Christmassy feeling last year because Sicily is just a warm place to be in.

4. Trip to America

Yup, yup, yup! I'm going to NYC and Boston! I'm going for two weeks in January, so expect soooo many posts and Instagrams! The spamming will be real and I won't even feel sorry. I've never been to the States so you can imagine just how excited I am. It'll be baltic at that time so time to buy snow boots I guess.

Versione Italiana:

5. Viaggio a Boston e NYC

State tranquilli perché posterò tutto su Instagram.
