Walking around Rome in the heat can be quite difficult especially when you wear uncomfortable clothes, usually I wear the comfiest clothes when I travel, which sometimes leaves me looking like an 'unfashionable' fashion blogger. So I like to try and find pieces I find suit my style and are also gorgeous.
When Cari's Closet contacted me to collaborate with them on a campaign I couldn't believe it. I knew I would be moving to Italy so the creative juices started flowing of how I could capture the outfit. I knew it had to be shot in Italy and also comfortable for the heat, it was like 26 degrees when I went so just about bearable, but still uncomfortable for a city break. So I chose this dress and my god was I in love with it when I tried it on! It's a lot heavier than I had expected, but the fact it was a white dress it helped a lot, plus, when it was windy, it didn't blow around (thank god!)
I shot this look at the Altare della Patria, a monument you haaaaave to visit when in Rome, it's too beautiful and special not to visit. Props to my dad for the photos, we found out hes a pretty good photographer! 😂
