Autumn is just about gone and the wintry mornings are upon us. This time of year is one of my favourites, even if I do love summer time at the beach, winter has such a special place in my heart. I remember last year living in Italy I was very homesick seeing everyone going to the Galway Christmas Market. I made it home the day before it closed so I managed to go (just about). This year I can't wait to hang out there with my friends and family and start to get the feeling of Christmas, I'm bursting with excitement! Davide recently booked flights to spend a few days in Ireland so I can also show him the market too! Galway is just so beautiful when it's lit up.

I love coming home after a long day in college to a very warm fire, wrapping myself up in my dressing gown with a cup of tea, it's such an amazing feeling. Another thing I love about the cold months is sweater weather! I am absolutely in love with knit jumpers recently, I purchased this white one in Penneys recently, it's such amazing quality and so warm! This was more expensive than most of the knits in the store. I highly suggest spending a little more on knits. This will surely last me for years unlike others that now have holes in them. This outfit would be one of my go to outfits during the winter months, match it with a scarf and you're snug as a bug!

Christmas morning is probably the only morning we wake up so early! Our mom wont let us open any presents until she is with us so she can see our reactions ðŸ˜‚. We also do secret santa in our house because buying presents for seven people is just too hard and expensive so we love being able to spend more on one present for one person!

Who else is dreaming of Christmas dinner already? I love Christmas day, every year without fail my whole family, granny, some of my aunts, uncles and cousins all come to my cousins house and we have a feast! We sometimes exchange small gifts and just stay together until very late. St. Stephens Day is the exact same, we have left over Christmas dinner with the same people and then watch a movie together. I don't think I could ever have Christmas dinner with a small number of people, I have to be surrounded by everyone and enjoy our family's company. Christmas is important for that reason, we love spending time with our extended family, it's almost like a holiday getting to spend time with them without any stress from normal life. Christmas day is the day everyone can be together. It's just so special.

Let me know what your Christmas plans are, I would absolutely love to hear!
Keep an eye out as I will be sharing some 'Gifts for Her' and 'Gifts for Him' posts to help with any Christmas shopping difficulties! You can always find me on my Instagram or Snapchat (CiaraSwalsh) to see my daily antics!
